Maintaining order in the streets: After enforcing the law that led to the closure of stores in the city after 11:00 PM, the Bnei Brak municipality began enforcing the law against taking merchandise out onto the street. The operation is being conducted under the title: "Return the sidewalks to the residents.".
This morning (Wednesday), municipal inspectors, accompanied by police officers, arrived with a truck and confiscated the vending machines placed for selling food and drinks next to the 'Shloimeleh Kiosk', across from the 'Itzkowitz' synagogue, on Rabbi Schach Street.
The inspectors gave the business owners a report, removed the machines, and loaded them onto the truck. According to the inspectors, the machines are placed on the sidewalk, which is against the law. The municipality says: "No one will be above the law. No connections will help. The sidewalks will be returned to the residents.".
