On the eve of Memorial Day for the Fallen in Israel's Armed Forces and Victims of Hostile Acts, the music video for the song "Open Your Heart," written in memory of the three kidnapped boys on the 14th and premiered about two months ago, is being released for the first time.

The song, the result of the initiative of the boys' friends from the Mekor Chaim Yeshiva, was written and composed by the composer and singer David D'Or, who became acquainted with the families during the days of the kidnapping, when there was uncertainty about the condition of the three.

During the days of intensive searches, Eyal and Gil-Ad's classmates from the Mekor Chaim Yeshiva became symbols. Young eleventh-grade boys who anxiously accompanied the search for their friends, until the bitter news.

In the months after the bodies were found, the boys' friends sought to commemorate them, among other things, through a song.

The friends approached singer David D'Or and shared their desire to write a song. D'Or joined the project, wrote the lyrics and composed it together with Ilan Keinan.

D'Or enlisted the singers Kobi Aflalo, David Broza, Yishai Ribo, Yonatan Razel and Avraham Fried to join him in the performance, and the families of the kidnapped people also entered the recording studio: Naftali Frankel's younger sisters and Eyal Yifrach's father also participated in the recordings.

The musical production and sound arrangement were carried out by producer Tomer Hadadi.

The video itself features the families of the kidnapped, members of the yeshiva, and of course the singers.

The clip follows the journey that the families of the kidnapped boys, their yeshiva friends, and the entire Jewish people have taken in the months since the kidnapping. A journey of hope, uncertainty, unity, great prayer, and pain. A journey of the families and the Jewish people, from themselves and to themselves.

""An amazing thing happened to me with this song," says David D'Or, who leads the project. "Less than a year has passed since an entire nation held its breath when the news announced the kidnapping of three boys on their way home from school. An entire nation prayed as one for their safe return home, a hope that, unfortunately, was dashed.".

""In recent months, while working on the song, we really got to know Eyal, Gil-Ad, and Naftali, through our friends from the yeshiva and their wonderful families.

""While working on the song, we felt like we were returning to the rare moments of unity we experienced around the summer events. We saw again how, beyond all political sectors and opinions, there is a deep unity, in which we are all brothers.".

Lyrics:
Open your heart with mercy for your children.
Their voice will be heard for generations.
Your words stand forever in heaven.
And in the land he found us comfort.
How were the three one?
And commanded us life
They went up to their mother like a tied deer.
On the altar of the boys
Heaven wept over Gilead
And the earth shook
From the twists and turns of a trembling heart
Smile in the picture, the three of you.
Open your heart.......
And soon they will produce evil leaves
Discovered in the dust screen
Lies hidden inside tunnels
Plots shot into the distance
The wind blew old new
And closeness to distant hearts
From the depths of her soul she asked
Don't fall even when you don't understand.
Open your heart.......
And in the madness between the chase and the pursued
Raise a cry for the longed-for peace
And the people who are tired of gratuitous hatred
Will unite in a brotherly embrace
Open your heart......
