The Likud faction gathered last night (Tuesday) for a consolidation at the Prime Minister's residence on Balfour Street in Jerusalem.

The Prime Minister's wife, Sara Netanyahu, opened the evening and welcomed the faction members: "A few weeks ago we were here, we invited all 30 members of Knesset, and I said that we aspire for everyone to enter the Knesset.

""We have the best team, the people sitting here are the best in the Knesset: experienced, smart, with ideals, and we have an excellent combination between the most experienced and best leader, the best team, and our new and talented young people.".

""Personally, I went through very difficult days in this campaign, but I did it with complete faith - that this is what is needed for the sake of the people of Israel and for the sake of our country. May we all be successful.".

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said: "We truly have the best team in the Knesset, very experienced people alongside new and fresh forces.

""We face many challenges in all areas, security-political and economic-social.

""I have great confidence in you, and I would like to thank you for everything. We will continue to work together to secure the future of the State of Israel.".

Singer Amir Benayoun moved the ministers and MKs of the Likud faction, and their spouses, when he dedicated the song "Nitzhat Itayi HaKhal" to Sarah Netanyahu, and the song "Simchot Ketanot" to the Prime Minister.
