Publicist and researcher Ben-Dror Yemini leaves Maariv and moves to Mozes Street - Yedioth Ahronoth.

In a farewell column he published on the NRG website, Yemini wrote: "This has been my home for over a decade. The newspaper too. The website too. I've had a good time here. I'm leaving without a trace of bitterness.".

""Even now, just before I move to another newspaper, I am not willing to say a bad word about Maariv and this website, which have always, always, given me a supportive shoulder. There were serious problems. There was poor management and even poorer marketing. But there was also journalism worthy of the name.".

Yemini addressed his writing, which has often provoked heated reactions from both sides of the political fence: "In recent years, I have irritated many. Both on the left and on the right. I tried to explain my positions. I received countless comments, emails, talkbacks, likes. Many supported. Many others were outraged. Why do you waver? I have been asked over and over again. Why are you one day right and one day left? Wrong. I do not waver. I think that both those who are called "left" and those who are called "right" have good arguments. I think that every issue should be examined on its own merits, and not on the merits of a person, or a camp.""

Yemini concludes his farewell article: "Ma'ariv was my home. The readers and subscribers were my home. This site was my home. I am leaving without a trace of bitterness. I am leaving because I received a fair and honorable offer from Idiot Aharonot. And thanks to the readers, the newspaper's subscribers and the site's visitors. So the time has come to say goodbye. A little sadly. A little like a new beginning. I wish the site, the newspaper, a successful continuation.".

Yemini's readers posted many comments on social media, wishing him success in his future endeavors, but many expressed disappointment over the move to Yedioth Ahronoth, which is more closely identified with the left in Israel. "May you not become a fig leaf for the newspaper that invented capital-government-newspaper," wrote one user.

Just today, the Antitrust Commissioner, David Gila, approved the sale of Makor Rishon and the NRG website to billionaire Sheldon Adelson, owner of Israel Hayom. Maariv sold to a man Business to me, help.
