Central District police, in cooperation with a Border Police force, arrested a suspect involved in a hit-and-run traffic accident that occurred last Saturday on Highway 44, between the Kfar Chabad intersection and the Beit Dagan intersection. As a result of the accident, an electric scooter rider was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspect (Lod, 1950s) was located and arrested after a manhunt, within hours of the accident. His vehicle was also located.
