Today (Monday), at around 7:15 PM, a report was received at the ZAKA hotline about a 17-year-old boy who fell from a height on Ha'aun Street in the city of Ashkelon.
Rescue forces evacuated him to Barzilai Hospital, but unfortunately the doctors there were forced to confirm his death.
ZAKA volunteers from the Lachish area - Ashkelon team were called to collect the findings at the scene and at the hospital.

Rabbi Meir Buskila, commander of ZAKA Ashkelon, and Nati Shahaf, a volunteer from the ZAKA Ashkelon team, who are treating the scene: "This is a 17-year-old boy who stumbled from the balcony of his house on Ha'onot Street in Ashkelon. MDA teams evacuated him to the hospital, where doctors were forced to confirm his death. Thanks to the activities of ZAKA volunteers at the scene, the body was released for burial. A ZAKA ambulance is now transporting the boy's body to the southern cemetery in Ashkelon in preparation for the funeral procession at 10:00 PM.
