This morning, a report was received at the ZAKA 1220 hotline about a 70-year-old man who was found lifeless in Arad, several days after his death and in an advanced state of decomposition.
ZAKA volunteers from the Negev Region - Arad team were called to the scene and worked at the scene to provide dignity to the deceased and collect the remains.
Saar Shechory and Israel Fox, ZAKA volunteers from the Arad team, who treated the scene, said: "This is a very difficult scene. The caregiver who arrived this morning after Shabbat and the holiday discovered the severe tragedy and called the emergency services to the scene. When we arrived at the scene, we saw a man about 70 years old in an advanced state of decomposition. ZAKA volunteers worked on the scene, treating the deceased with dignity and collecting all the findings.""
