The Chief Rabbi of Israel, Rabbi Kalman Meir Bar, was involved in a minor car accident this morning (Tuesday).
According to a statement issued by the Chief Rabbi's Office, the incident occurred while the rabbi was on his way back home after finishing morning prayers.
Following the car accident, the Chief Rabbi was taken to a hospital for a series of medical tests and to rule out internal injuries.
