4 months ago, an 8-day-old baby was found in a stairwell in a building in Hadera. The baby was taken to the hospital in stable condition and transferred to be examined by welfare officials.
As part of the investigation and according to a DNA test conducted, it emerged that the suspect involved in the baby's abandonment is a resident of Tulkarm.
Earlier today, in a targeted operation by the Criminal Investigation Unit in the Shi'a District, a suspect was arrested. His wife, who was with him in the car at the time of the arrest, was detained along with him.

The two suspects, residents of Tulkarm, were transferred for further investigation to the Hadera police station in order to complete the investigation.
