In preparation for the celebration of the prophet Samuel, which will begin in the coming days - Thursday and Friday, Iyar 27 and 28 - the Ministry of National Security and the Israel Police have completed operational preparations to secure the thousands of worshippers and visitors expected to arrive at the tomb complex.
In accordance with the policy of the Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir, utmost emphasis was placed on maintaining public peace, regulating the crowd, and preventing crowding in the compound, with the aim of allowing every Jew to pray safely and with an expanded mind.
Highlights for the visiting public:
Arrival by public transportation only: The mountain complex will be closed to private vehicles. Access will be possible only via designated service lines and shuttles.
Traffic arrangements: Highway 436 will be intermittently closed from the Mintz Intersection to Har Shmuel in both directions. The public is asked to be patient and use navigation apps.
