Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made a statement this evening (Wednesday) at the beginning of the political-security cabinet meeting.
""We are in constant contact with our friends in the United States. I speak with President Trump almost on a daily basis. My people and his people speak on a daily basis, including today - and I will also speak with President Trump later tonight.".
Netanyahu emphasized: "We have full coordination, there are no surprises. We share common goals, and the most important goal is the removal of enriched material from Iran, all enriched material, and the dismantling of Iran's enrichment capabilities.".
The Prime Minister added: "President Trump believes he can achieve this one way or another. But we are prepared for any scenario, and this is my instruction to the IDF and our security forces. Israel is stronger than ever, Iran and its proxies are weaker than ever.".

The Prime Minister's remarks followed a report in the Reuters news agency stating that Israel was surprised by the rapid change in President Trump's position and the proximity to a new agreement with Iran.
It was also reported that Israel was preparing for a military escalation and was unaware that the American president was striving to close a deal in the immediate future.
President Trump said tonight: "We will not allow Iran to have a nuclear weapon. We really want to reach a deal.".
