Hezbollah launched explosive drones and several rockets today (Wednesday) at IDF forces operating in southern Lebanon. The attack included several different incidents in which the terrorist organization attempted to harm fighters in the field.
During the events, two explosive drones fell near forces operating in the area. As a result of the falls, two IDF fighters were moderately and lightly injured.
The injured fighters were immediately evacuated to receive medical treatment at a hospital.
In another incident that occurred at the same time, the Air Force successfully intercepted a hostile aircraft. The interception was carried out before the aircraft was able to cross into Israeli territory.
The IDF stated that, according to current policy, no alerts were activated during the recent interception and launch events.
