In the last hour, six fire crews from the Ashdod area station have been working on a large fire that broke out in an open area in the northern industrial area of the city.
The crews are working to extinguish the fire, while taking steps to prevent the fire from spreading to other areas.
At this stage there is no danger to the surrounding areas. Firefighters are asking the public to avoid the area and to follow the instructions of security forces.
