A report by the "Moked Amon" group, the largest hotline and security company in Israel, shows a dramatic increase in the use of panic buttons against the backdrop of crime incidents, outbursts, and real concerns for personal and property security.

According to the data, in 2024 the average number of distress calls (true events) was 1.75 cases per month. In 2025 the number tripled to 5.6 events, while April 2026 data reveals an alarming rate of 8.25 events per month, a total jump of approximately 370% in just two years.

The data is based on "true" presses of panic buttons installed in businesses, private homes and educational centers. "The data from the Trust Center reflects the moment when the citizen or business owner feels a real threat and needs an immediate response," explains Swede, warning, "The numbers we see are nothing short of shocking. When we're talking about an increase of hundreds of percent, we're seeing more incidents of break-ins to businesses and daring robberies in which people simply come and take the cash registers. Citizens are experiencing a significant loss of their sense of personal security, and their first option is the panic button.""

According to Sued, the surge in calls requires the deployment of a reinforced system and specially trained teams. "When there is a rate of 4.5 times more incidents than two years ago, we recognize that the public feels the need for an additional protective envelope. To address this gap, we are currently operating many more response teams and integrating advanced technologies in the field.".

"The data for 2026 speaks for itself," adds Swede. "We are witnessing a decline in the sense of personal security and an increase in the scope of outbreaks. This is a national trend in which thousands of citizens and business owners find themselves facing significant criminal challenges and turn to us to receive a professional and immediate response.""
