Serbian Foreign Minister Marko Djuric arrived today, along with his entourage, to stay at the Waldorf Astoria Jerusalem Hotel.
Juric managed to surprise the hotel staff by speaking to them in fluent Hebrew and explaining that he had previously lived in Israel and therefore was fluent in the language.
Juric is Jewish, a relative of captivity survivor Alon Ohel, and during his last visit to Israel about a year ago, he expressed his commitment to continuing the warm friendship between the countries and Serbia's support for Israel and the Jewish people.
