Lebanese President Joseph Aoun commented on the statement by Hezbollah Secretary-General Naim Qassam: "Our actions are not treason. Traitors are those who drag the country into war for foreign goals. My ambition is to bring an end to the fighting with Israel, similar to previous ceasefire arrangements, but I will not allow the signing of an agreement that will humiliate Lebanon.".
