A short time ago, the police received a report regarding a post published on social media by a 42-year-old East Jerusalem resident, which raised suspicions that he intended to commit a terrorist act.
Following rapid interrogation operations and extensive searches by police and Border Guard soldiers in East Jerusalem, the suspect was arrested while in his vehicle. A search of the vehicle found a knife and an assault weapon, and he was transferred for further investigation to the Special Operations Division of the Jerusalem Police Headquarters, along with his wife, who was with him.
