In the midst of the days of counting the Omer: the musician and the creator Sharon Abilhak Execution tangent Vocal "Exciting to sing""The longing remains."" – the first song from his new project.

The execution is entrusted to The Bachar Brothers, who have collaborated with Abilhak in the past.

The renewed connection between them this time is personal and unbearably painful: the song is dedicated to the memory of their brother, Yehuda Bachar, the 14th, who was murdered in a massacre at Simchat Torah during the Nuba festival.

The choice of a vocal version without musical instruments was born out of a desire to convey the message in the most open and honest way. These days, when the people of Israel are in a fateful battle against Iran and its proxies, the words about the deep longing that never passes take on a double meaning, both as a family that has lost its most precious thing, and as a people that is dealing with daily loss.

Sharon, who lives the area daily as a DJ at events and celebrations, brings another side here, exposed and touching. The song reminds us that even as time passes, longing is an inseparable part of our lives here.
