Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice, Yariv Levin, announced a comprehensive reform of the traffic, family, and youth courts, with the aim of improving service to the public.
According to the plan, the number of judges in traffic courts will be increased by approximately 24%, in family courts by approximately 15%, and in juvenile courts by approximately 26%.
Levin also noted that he will not allow forced appointments to the Supreme Court, and that he will publish nominations for the promotion of judges from the Magistrate's Courts to the District Courts.
