This week, Northern District police and Northern Border Guard soldiers operating near Highway 79 at the Somekh Interchange saw a vehicle traveling - but had difficulty identifying the driver.
The police motorcyclists signaled the vehicle to stop and after investigating the details, they realized that the person driving the vehicle was a 13-year-old boy without a driver's license, with his father, 53, sitting in the seat next to him.
An investigation was opened at the Shfaram Police Station, in which those involved were summoned for further discussions in the legal process, along with the seizure of the vehicle that the minor was driving - and it was impounded for 30 days.
