Eisenkot, who previously served as commander of the Judea and Samaria Division, knows the area well, as his family is also among the founders of the Yakir settlement. During the visit, he was impressed by the development in the area and the scope of civilian and security activity, noting the high recruitment rates of the area's residents and their contribution during the war.
