Chairman of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee Boaz Bismuth issued a statement: I would like to clarify clearly and unequivocally: I am not appointed and I am not moving to any diplomatic position. The numerous reports are nothing more than baseless rumors and complete fake news.
There are political figures who would be happy to see me out of the race in the upcoming primaries, due to the broad support I enjoy among the public.
I face significant challenges, foremost among them the passage of the package of laws: the Conscription Law, the Service Extension Law, and the Reserves Law, and I intend to continue to focus on my work for the public.
