The 'Shurat Al-Din' organization, as well as Spanish opposition organizations, have filed a complaint with the International Criminal Court in The Hague against Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, claiming that Spain assisted the Iranian regime by transferring components related to explosives worth 1.3 million euros to Tehran over the past two years.
These are components that Iran used to build unmanned aerial vehicles and missiles.
The Spanish government responded to the allegations: Spain complies with all of the strictest international sanctions regimes.
And this is a political use of a legal tool designed to embarrass Sanchez because of his independent political position.
