The IDF announced this evening an update to the Home Front Command's defense policy following ongoing monitoring of security developments. The new guidelines will be in effect for the next 24 hours.
The confrontation line: limited activity only
In the confrontation line area, the policy remains under a "restricted activity classification." However, it was clarified that educational activity can be carried out, provided that it takes place within a standard protected space only.

Northern Golan, Upper Galilee, Katzrin and Kedmat Zvi
In these areas, the scale remains limited. Educational activities will only be allowed in institutions and places from which it is possible to reach a standard protected space during the time available to residents in the area (the protection time).

Center, South and Jerusalem: Restrictions on gatherings
In most areas of the country, including the southern Golan Heights, the Beit Shean Valley, the Bekaa Valley, the Dead Sea, Jerusalem, Judea and the Judean Lowlands, Lachish, the Gaza Strip, and the Negev (west, center, and south), the Arava, and Eilat – gathering restrictions have been imposed. According to the new guidelines, gatherings of up to 5,000 people are only permitted.
