Media personality Nadav Eyal, a columnist for Yedioth Ahronoth, reacted angrily to the comments made by Makor Rishon newspaper editor Kalman Libeskind on a podcast on the All-in network hosted by Nadav Perry.

Eyal addressed the question posed by Libeskind in the interview - "One in four voted for Bibi. Do you see these people in the studios?" - and wrote: "There is no limit to the crying. The answer to this crying question is yes - absolutely and completely. Support for Bibi is felt in culture and the media in Israel, in the studios, in general, and in senior positions.

The commentator attacked Libeskind: "This is a man who spits on the press in Israel and doesn't want to consume anything from it (listen to the interview), gets drunk from it generously, and asks everyone to imagine that the year is 1976 and Begin is in opposition.

""What's destructive about this false consciousness is that it will never end. No matter how long the right is in power, what tricks the regime uses to get its broadcast channels to receive discounts, what newspapers will be here, who will form a government - it will continue to claim a dark conspiracy and complain that it is being harassed and hated, just like conspirators who are convinced that lizard people run NASA.".

""Without a cultural revolution with purges, public floggings, detention camps and forced labor, the Libeskinds of all kinds will not rest. Which is another way for them to say: Get out of here.".

In the podcast, Libeskind harshly criticized the conduct of the Israeli media. "We went through several election campaigns, and the Israeli public, which I propose to respect, said, 'We want him (Netanyahu)'," Libeskind said.

""Let's respect that. One in four citizens in Israel voted for him. Do you see these people in television studios? On commentaries? Does this seem normal to you? One in four people we catch on the street voted for Netanyahu. Not for the government - for Netanyahu himself.".

""Those who mediate reality for us are people who are offside to the public," Libeskind stated. "This is not normal. I expect you to be outraged about this.".
