Oded Harosh, a Channel 14 presenter, said this morning (Monday) in a conversation with Gideon Oko and Amichai Atali on 103fm radio that he has been receiving harsh reactions from viewers on the channel in recent days, after interviewing the chairman of the Blue and White party, MK Benny Gantz.
""They accused me of being a chaplain," he said.
One surfer wrote: "Oded Harosh! What is this caressing interview you did with Gantz? Shame and disgrace." Another surfer responded: "A caressing interview no more. Oded Harosh was a disappointment. He didn't ask any incisive questions." And then he slammed: "More low moments for Channel 14 at the hands of Oded Harosh. The right-wing values are disappointing.".
Harosh claimed that the attack was also directed at his family. "They cursed my wife and children, and for what? Did I let a leftist come to Channel 14? My only sin was that I tried to bring more than just the right into the conversation.".
He said about what preceded the interview: "It should be said to Benny Gantz's credit that when I reached out to his spokeswoman, she said, 'Listen, he sees this plan, he thinks you know how to have a respectful conversation, let me check with him.' She got back to me within a day or two and said he would be happy to come.".
He added: "They expect me to bring only right-wing people and nod the whole interview? This is more than interesting, it's important.".
