Singer Noa Kirel held a press conference yesterday (Tuesday) at her home in Ra'anana, where she announced another show that will take place in Yarkon Park.
During the event, she was asked by the Channel 14 staff present to change into more modest clothing for the interview - and she complied with the request.
The request, which various media outlets called an "unusual demand" and said "Noa Kirel was shocked," was addressed by Kirel herself, who clarified that she had no problem with the move - and even emphasized that she respects everyone.
In the interview itself, the singer spoke candidly about the importance of faith in her life and the life of her family: "We decided to build our own home, which is based on values, a large part of which is faith, and faith in Hashem.".
She added that she and her husband, Israeli national team goalkeeper Daniel Peretz, are strict about holding Kiddush and lighting Shabbat candles: "If it's holding Kiddush, lighting candles, even there - I don't give up, it's something that's very important to us.".
Kirel also noted her new husband's connection to tradition: "Daniel puts on tefillin every morning and prays, we are very connected. It gives us real peace.".
