Comedian Guy Hochman responded today (Tuesday) with cynicism to the criticism leveled at him by Omer Nachmani, former spokesman for Democratic Party Chairman Yair Golan - following a photo Hochman posted in which he is seen placing tefillin at the Western Wall.

Nachmani posted Hochman's photo and mocked: "Dear Israeli parents - this is Judaism for ninety shekels that is sold to your children on TikTok and Instagram. Idolatry to the golden calf of likes and views.

""Our youth deserve to know that this country was founded on the values of free Judaism and not the worship of empty rituals, that taking selfies with tefillin at the Western Wall for attention is a ridiculous and embarrassing act, idolatry.".

Hochman responded: "Omer, Yair Golan's spokesman and LGBT activist, is bothered that I dared to document myself putting on tefillin at the Western Wall and calls it idolatry. Indeed, a liberal man.".

He signed: "There is no end to trolling.".
