During a broadcast on his program on Radio 103FM, when he intended to read a text of his own that had previously been published in the Haaretz newspaper, Haim Levinson was forced to do so from the draft he wrote at the time - and not from the official website.
How will you get home quickly on the night of Hanukkah? Everything you need to know • In advance
What is the reason?
Levinson said: "As part of my dismissal, they also canceled my subscription." He said the move was made quickly. "I'm still an employee of the newspaper. It's amazing. A week after I was fired, they already canceled my subscription.".
The climax, he said, came shortly after access was blocked, when the newspaper's marketing system approached him as a new customer. "They even shamelessly sent me a message asking if I wanted to renew at 15% for a discount.".
Levinson, who was Haaretz's political commentator, was fired in October after it was revealed that he had received at least 200,000 shekels from the company Perception, owned by Srulik Einhorn. Levinson was fired for ethical reasons.
