YNun Magal and Chaim Levinson spoke today (Tuesday) on their program on Radio 103 about Levinson's termination of his work at the Haaretz newspaper after many years and on Keshet 12.

""I decided to leave. If I had returned to the screen, it would have caused a huge uproar," Levinson told Magal, when asked why he left the show "Ophira and Levinson" on Keshet 12. "It would have taken the focus off the show.".

""What do you do for a living these days?" Magal asked.

""Do you want to look in my wallet?" Levinson replied. "I don't know if they pay me enough here to tolerate you, but they still pay me, certainly not voluntarily," he replied with a sneer.

Levinson returned to broadcast yesterday alongside Magal on 103FM radio. At the beginning of the program, Levinson said: "I have a lot to say, but I'm not sure this is the place and time. Technically, I'm still employed in the places I was. I have a lot to say, the time is not yet ripe to say what I think.

""It was an interesting experience, especially on a human level. In times of crisis, you learn about the nature of people, both those you thought were your friends and turned out to be scum, and those you didn't think were your friends and turned out to be souls.".

Levinson added, "I'm rolling now. I have 103. I put my trust in God. It's not a matter of faith but a matter of feeling, I don't feel. You, for example, feel him.".

Yinon Magal replied: "The only thing that sustains me and gives me confidence in this life is faith, prayer and the service of God. It requires effort, commitment, but it gives me confidence. At least for a moment a day I am connected to a faithful anchor, something strong and true. I am connected to the truth.".

He emphasized: "I bring an alternative, I bring something real and reveal a truth of the people of Israel that is connected to something.".
