Media personality Eden Harel returned today (Monday), after an absence of more than seven months, to broadcast the morning show on Channel 14 together with her husband, Oded Menashe, who has presented the show without her in recent months.
Host Oded Menashe opened the broadcast with the promise of a "surprise" and, in his typical style, built the tension in the opening minutes as he referred with a smile to the reason for her return: "She was, she returned, she arrived. She couldn't stand the longing - not for the studio, not for her friends, not for her husband. She said, 'Enough, I can't take it anymore.' I don't know why she left, but I know exactly why she's coming back - to restore Atara to her former glory.".

Before she entered the studio, Menashe humorously introduced her as "a young, kind, and cool presenter who hasn't been on television yet but will do anything to be the best," and to the sound of thunderous applause - in the audience's homes - he welcomed her.
At this point, Harel took the opportunity to explain the real reason that led her to take a step back from the screen in recent months.
""Why did you leave?" Menashe asked her, and Harel answered honestly: "Because it was hard for me, I admit. It was hard for me. The war, the families of the kidnapped, the bereaved families... I would simply leave the broadcast like you, and cry. Cry, cry, cry. I ran out of air.".
When asked what had changed now and what led to her return, Harel cautiously replied that the feeling that the situation had "calmed down a bit" allowed her to return to the studio and television work, hoping for quieter days.
Harel herself shared on social media what was happening behind the scenes of her return to the screen, and among other things, she asked her husband a question whose answer left her in shock.
""Are you happy I'm back?" she asked and he quickly replied: "No." Harel was left shocked by the answer, and Menashe immediately corrected his words and said: "Just, just.".
Harel turned to the panelist sitting in the studio, Einav Avizmar, and asked her: "Did you hear what he said?".
Abizmar came out in Menashe's favor and said: "Do you know what was going on with him when you weren't here? Was he lonely? Alone? He could barely function.".
