One of the columns most identified with the newspaper 'Besheva' has come to an end: Broadcaster and presenter Yedidia Meir has finished, after many years, writing his popular opinion column in the popular newspaper.
The announcement read: "To our readers: Yedidia Meir's weekly column has gone on vacation until further notice, at the writer's request.".
Meir's column was one of the most beloved and widely read in the newspaper. Yedidia combined thought, humor, observation of the week's parashah, and a personal perspective on current events.

Meir, a regular panelist on the show "The Patriots" on Channel 14, hosts a daily morning show called "Wake Up" on "Kol Hai" radio. Meir broadcasts the show from his home studio. On Fridays, he and his wife Sivan Rahav-Meir host the show "Couple Weekend" on Galei Tzahal.
