During the recent period, dozens of calls were received at the police hotline 100 - in which the caller, an Arabic speaker, said that an attack against security forces personnel was about to occur, mainly in East Jerusalem.
For each call received, all district officials were activated, during which forces operated in the field, mobile scans were carried out, and suspects were examined until the information was initiated.
After analyzing all of the calls received, along with analyzing the situation, which showed that none of the calls were linked to any incident, the police decided to open an investigation.
As part of the investigation, the identity of the caller was discovered and a police force arrested her yesterday night.
The arrested suspect, a resident of Anata in her 30s, was interrogated at the Sheft police station, during which she confessed to the charges against her. At the end of her interrogation, she was brought before the court, which extended her detention, during which it was determined that she would be sent for observation.
