US President Donald Trump has filed a $10 billion lawsuit against The Wall Street Journal publisher Rupert Murdoch and parent company News Corp., alleging serious defamation.

According to a report in the American New York Post, the lawsuit was filed following the publication of an article claiming that he sent an obscene letter to Jeffrey Epstein.

According to the lawsuit, filed Friday in federal court in Florida, the article alleged that Trump sent Epstein a letter on his 50th birthday in 2003, which included inappropriate drawings and vulgar language.

Trump categorically denies the existence of the letter and claims that it is a "false and defamatory" fabrication, designed to link him to Epstein and present him in a distorted light.

Trump's lawyer, Alejandro Brito, accused the newspaper of completely fabricating the contents of the letter and the illustration, claiming that the publication included fabricated quotes, blatant wording, and a false depiction of Trump's signature on a drawing.
