This morning (Friday), another combat officer was seriously injured during a clash with terrorists in southern Lebanon. The commander of the Givati ​​patrol was also slightly injured in the same incident - and he is the second battalion commander to be injured in Lebanon in the past week, after a few days ago, Battalion Commander Shaked was injured in Givati ​​by an explosive drone in the same village in southern Lebanon.

Doron Kadosh wrote about the clash between Sayeret Givati ​​fighters and Hezbollah terrorists this morning in the village of Zutar a-Sharqiya, north of the Litani:

  • At around 8:00 AM, Givati ​​Patrol fighters encountered terrorists in the Zutar a-Sharqiya area in southern Lebanon.
  • As a result, an IDF officer was seriously injured and was evacuated for medical treatment.
  • In addition, the commander of the Givati ​​patrol was slightly injured, after a few hours and, depending on his medical condition, it was decided to evacuate him for medical treatment.
  • Immediately afterwards, the forces fired at the terrorists and began searching for the terrorists and attacking terrorist infrastructure in the area.

In this morning's incident, the injured were also evacuated to a hospital for medical treatment.
