Minister of Diaspora and the Fight against Anti-Semitism Amichai Shikli called today (Tuesday) on his X Network account to eliminate Syrian President Ahmed al-Shara.
In a post he published alongside documentation of the Syrian regime's abuse of the Druze, he wrote: "We must not stand idly by in the face of the Islamist-Nazi terror regime of al-Qaeda in a suit and tie. Anyone who thinks that Ahmed al-Shara is a legitimate leader is greatly mistaken - he is a terrorist who must be eliminated without delay.".
""We need to fight it now when it is relatively small and weak, not to normalize it in any way. If it looks like Hamas, talks like Hamas and acts like Hamas. It is Hamas.".
According to him, "Al-Shara is a deadly terrorist, a barbaric mass murderer, and in a very high probability he is the next Sanwar. We saw the terrible massacre of the Alawites, we encountered deafening silence from European leaders, and now we are witnessing the massacre and humiliation of the Druze. The terrorist regime in Syria must be fought!
""His ideology is not one millimeter different from that of Hamas - an Islamic caliphate under the rule of Sharia law, that is the vision and there is no exception to it. No agreement should be made with this terrorist.".
The minister claimed that al-Julani needs a temporary ceasefire because "right now he is too weak to fight us, but all his military training will be invested in a future war with Israel. There is no reason to turn a blind eye to the serious danger looming from the north. Peace bought cheaply today will cost dearly in a decade.".
Shikli added: "The patron of al-Sharaa is Erdogan, whose rhetoric towards us is escalating - just a month ago Erdogan called for the destruction of Israel. We have already learned that it is not worth disparaging the statements of our enemies. The fundamentalist Shiite axis will be replaced by the Sunni axis, unless we are blessed with a determined democratic struggle that will lead to the overthrow of the dictator from Ankara.".
Minister Bezalel Smotrich added: "The brutal massacre carried out by Ahmed al-Julani's regime against the Druze in southern Syria proves that they were and remain violent and cruel extremist Islamists, and the West must not let the suit and tie fool it. The State of Israel cannot afford to withdraw under any conditions from the buffer zone and the summit of Mount Hermon, which we need to protect the Golan Heights settlements, and it will continue to protect the Druze in southern Syria to the best of its ability.".
