The IDF and Shin Bet attacked and killed the terrorist Hacham Muhammad Issa al-Issa on Friday in the Sabra neighborhood of Gaza City, who served as a senior figure in the military wing of the Hamas terrorist organization and was considered one of the organization's founders.
His current position was head of the combat support staff in the military wing of the Hamas terrorist organization.
In the past, Issa led Hamas's force building in the Gaza Strip, was one of the founders of the military wing's operations, served as head of the training headquarters, and was a member of Hamas's General Military Council.
In addition, Issa was a significant factor in the planning and execution of the murderous massacre of October 7.
During the war and even in recent days, Issa served as head of the Combat Assistance Staff, and promoted terrorist plots from the air and sea against citizens of the State of Israel and IDF forces operating in the Gaza Strip.
In parallel with promoting the outlines, Issa worked to rebuild the Hamas terrorist organization's structures that were damaged in the war.
Hacham Muhammad Issa al-Issa was a central source of knowledge and one of the last Hamas senior figures who held senior positions before October 7th to remain in the Gaza Strip.
The IDF statement said: "The IDF and Shin Bet will continue to act with determination to locate and eliminate all terrorists from the various terrorist organizations who took part in the murderous massacre on October 7.""
