On the way to further attacks in Iran: Defense Minister Israel Katz has instructed the IDF to issue evacuation notices to residents in Tehran living near weapons production complexes.
""The IDF will attack the sites and continue to peel the skin of the Iranian snake in Tehran and everywhere from nuclear capabilities and weapons systems," said Minister Katz. "The Iranian dictator is turning Tehran into Beirut and the residents of Tehran into hostages for the survival of his regime.".
A security source said that the Defense Minister's directive to evacuate residents in Tehran is part of a pre-approved plan to exert pressure on the regime by evacuating the population - in response to the firing on the Israeli home front.
In accordance with the instructions given to the IDF, the IDF spokesman in Arabic issued an immediate warning to residents of the Islamic Republic - calling on any citizen near weapons production facilities to stay away, "otherwise their lives will be in danger.".
The announcement was made by the IDF's Arabic-language spokesman, Col. Avichai Edrei - who became known for the frequent evacuation warnings he issued during the war in the Gaza Strip, Lebanon, and Yemen - and for videos that made him one of the most well-known Israelis in the Arab world.
The announcement, published under the title "Urgent Warning to All Citizens of Iran," reads: "This is an urgent warning to those currently or in the near future in all arms factories in Iran and the entities that assist them.
""For your safety, we ask you to immediately evacuate the factory premises, and not return until further notice. Being near them endangers your lives.".
This is the first time that a public warning has been issued by the IDF in Arabic, with a direct message to the Iranian public.
