
Three people were killed in a missile strike launched by Iran towards Israel starting last night.
On Saturday night, a 60-year-old woman was killed by a missile strike in the Dan area. This morning, a man and a woman were pronounced dead after being hit by a missile that hit a residential neighborhood in the central area.
Extensive damage was caused to buildings and vehicles in the area. An additional 27 people were injured at the scene and evacuated to area hospitals for treatment.
The mayor of the municipality where the attack occurred told Reshet B: "These are the most difficult images I have ever seen. You need to see what is happening here to understand why you need to stay in the protected areas.".
The missiles were launched towards civilian and military targets.
The Iranian Revolutionary Guards claim to have attacked dozens of targets in Israel.

13 victims were evacuated from the scene of the fall in the Tel Aviv sector: 2 injured in moderate condition and 11 injured in light condition.
From the scene of the fall in the Ramat Gan sector, 30 victims were evacuated: a 74-year-old woman who was evacuated in critical condition and was pronounced dead at the hospital, a 65-year-old man in serious condition, 1 in moderate condition and 27 in mild condition.
From the scene of the fall in the Rishon LeZion sector, 29 victims were evacuated: a 60-year-old woman who was rescued with no signs of life and was pronounced dead at the scene, a 73-year-old man who was evacuated in critical condition and was pronounced dead at the hospital, 2 moderate injuries and 25 minor injuries.
In addition, MDA teams treated 5 injured people at the additional scenes who were injured by destruction and shrapnel, including 1 moderate and 4 light injuries, and 94 injured people who were injured on their way to a protected area, including 1 serious, 1 moderate, 92 light and 33 panic victims.
