The head of the Samaria Council, Yossi Dagan, today (Sunday), moved his office near the Baruchin junction - the place where Tsala Gaz, 45, was murdered in the shooting attack, while her husband Hananel was slightly injured.
Members of Tsala's family announced that they will arrive at the office tomorrow to express their protest, along with the head of the council.
Dagan arrived at the scene along with the leaders of the area's communities and announced a protest camp there, calling for immediate action from the Prime Minister:
""This morning we moved the council head's office to the site of the attack near Brukin, because we are not willing to remain silent any longer. We demand an end to this illusory containment. It does not comfort us that they caught or killed the terrorist or the terrorist's accomplice here in the village of the attackers in Brukin.".
""This place, this village that brought out this terrorist or these terrorists, who openly celebrated the shocking murder of a woman on the way to the hospital, this village that is a hornet's nest, that unleashes attacks time after time, should announce a military operation today. And we expect the Israeli government to carry out military operations here in Brookin, just as it began to do late, which also cost blood in northern Samaria.".
""The law of the terrorist village of Brukin must be the same as the law of the Jenin refugee camp, the Tulkarm refugee camp. We demand the defeat of terrorism, not the containment of terrorism. We demand a ground maneuver operation, here in the village of Brukin and in the region. We demand the destruction of all the illegal construction that has taken over Area C here, and under its cover the terrorist could have carried out some of the attacks, to expose all the illegal vegetation under the cover of which the terrorist could have carried out some of the attacks.
""We see beginnings - they are not enough. We respect the army, we respect the government, and we have demands from this government. And I say to the government ministers and also to the prime minister, we will not make any concessions to you. Jewish blood will not be in vain.".
""We are sitting here in Brochin, 10 minutes from Rosh Ha-Ayin, 12 minutes from Petah Tikva. The true center of the country. We are defending the State of Israel from here. And we demand security in our country. We will not be silent.".
Lidor Sofer, chairman of the Ali Zahav-Leshem settlement: "Unfortunately, I lost my father in a brutal attack two and a half years ago. I want to tell you that nothing has changed. There is an incomprehensible sense of acceptance here. An incomprehensible sense of tolerance. We warned, we shouted. I lost my father and today I lost a good friend because of negligence. Because of helplessness. So the fact that someone now stood up and said he takes responsibility, that doesn't bring them back to us!""
Ohad Cohen, member of the Baruchin Secretariat Council: "We have already said and warned about this, we said and asked the army to take action, and unfortunately they did not happen with the desired result and to the desired extent. We cannot let this continue like this and we must demand that the blood of the residents of Baruchin and the residents of Samaria will not be in vain.".
Shmuel Livson, member of the Feduel secretariat: "It is important to say that the struggle is not only for the residents of Baruchin and the residents of Gush Marava, nor for the residents of Samaria. It is a struggle for all residents of the State of Israel. If a woman cannot travel to a hospital to give birth to her child safely, this must turn on flashing lights in the factors above. We need to find a quick and permanent solution.""
Noam Gottlieb, a member of the secretariat in Baruchin: "We demand that under the lives that were cut short here, we continue to grow life. To expand the settlement.".
