The minister signed the permits for holding all events in the Meron area, including the lightings in the Bnei Akiva complex, as well as the lightings and tents in the expanded Hilula complex.
The signature comes after the recommendation of the festival supervisor was received - who received the required approvals from the Israel Police, Fire and Rescue Department, the Ministry of Health, and the engineer on behalf of the production company.
All work to hold the celebration and the outline were also approved within the framework of the safety plan by the senior safety advisor on behalf of the production, Avi Levy, as well as by the supervisor of the safety and engineering plan, Engineer Rami Shemesh - on behalf of the minister.
Minister of Jerusalem and Jewish Tradition, Meir Porush, said at the signing: "This is a very significant moment in the preparations for the Rashbi celebration in Meron 5785, which is now ready for the lighting and prayers. The minister thanked the Hilula projector, Yossi Deitch, Director General of the Ministry of Jerusalem and Israel Tradition, Shimon Album, Deputy Director General of the Ministry of Jerusalem and Israel Tradition and Head of the Miron Chaim Rosenstein Division, Hilula producer David Azrieli, the licensing and safety representatives at the Israel Police, Fire and Rescue, the Ministry of Health, and the production.
The Minister wished to give special thanks to the senior field manager in the Meron Division, Aharon Spitz, who is responsible on behalf of the Ministry and the Minister for centralizing the field of regulation and licensing.
