The Gaon Rabbi Aviezer Piltz, Rosh Yeshiva Tifrah and member of the Degel HaTorah Council, went to the residence of Maran Grad Lando in Givat HaYeshiva in Bnei Brak to consult.
At the end of the consultation, the Gra Piltz told the Rosh Yeshiva: "It is very helpful that the rabbi speaks against the draft, there are some young men who are confused.".
Rabbi Lando replied: It is the role of the yeshiva heads to ensure that the young men are not confused...

In a conversation that the Gra Piltz had with the Gaon Rabbi Moshe Hillel Hirsch, about the future of funding for the yeshivot world, it emerged that the money collected for the 'World of Torah Fund', with the aim of establishing an alternative funding fund for the budgets that were stopped, is running out.
Rabbi Hirsch said at a meeting held at his home in the Slobodka Yeshiva Hill: "It will be over in a month.".
According to him, the fund is running low and now ways must be explored to raise a similar amount for another year. During the meeting, the Gra Piltz expressed appreciation for the efforts of the Grama Hirsch in raising funds: "Rabbi Hirsch deserves our gratitude, without him we would have nothing to eat.".
In response, Rabbi Hirsch noted: "The homeowners (donors) want to continue" supporting the project, but new preparations are required.
