He never had a driver's license, escaped from the police by driving wildly and was arrested by the Northern District police after being caught for the third time.
On Sunday, during an enforcement activity by Northern District police on Highway 805 near the city of Araba, the officers asked a vehicle to stop for inspection.
When the police signaled the driver to stop, he continued on a wild ride to the city of Sakhnin, dangerously overtaking vehicles, with the police hot on his heels.
The vehicle stopped on a dirt road, the driver got out and started running, closing the car door on the police officer as the officer tried to get out.
After the police investigation, it was determined that the defendant, the driver of the vehicle, had never issued a driver's license and that this was the third time he had been arrested for the same offense.
Upon completion of the investigation phase, an indictment was filed against a 28-year-old resident of Deir Hanna in the Acre Traffic Court through the Acre Traffic Claims Branch for the offenses attributed to him.
