Hamas released a video this afternoon (Saturday) containing another sign of life from the kidnapped Elkana Buhabut, who has been held in Gaza for 540 days.

In the video, Elkana is seen, with a picture of the prime minister in the background, begging for help: "I miss my wife, my son - get me out.".

""The real psychological war is with myself, that I am without my son, without my wife every morning," Elkana says with tearful eyes, in texts that were apparently dictated by the terrorist organization. "I'm telling you - it's tearing me apart... Don't you understand? I want to get out of here. I'm suffocating, I want to get out.

""You took everyone out - what about us? Why is my wife alone? Why can't my son say dad? What would you say to a 5-year-old boy whose birthday is coming up soon? Please get me out of here, it's hard for me," Elkana begs. "Please hear my cry, help me get out of here alive.".

Bohbot's family said: "We are asking in every possible way the public in Israel - listen to Elkana's cry. Don't forget him. We must save him and our captive brothers.".

Last Monday, the terrorist organization released a video featuring another sign of life from Elkana, alongside Yosef Haim Ohana. That video and the words said in it were released at the request of the families.

It is likely that the things they said were dictated by the captors as part of Hamas' psychological terrorism.

""Until yesterday I had a name, and I had an identity, and I had hope. Today I'm just another number," Elkana said in the previous video. Among other things, he addressed the captive survivor Ohad Ben Ami, with whom he was held, and said: "You know how much suffering we go through here all the time, you know what it's like during a war and what it's like during a deal, you know, you came out to your wife, to your daughters. You said that a few weeks after that I would also come out to my wife and my son. I didn't come out anymore. Explain to them, explain to them how hard it is for me. Every day here is hard for me, without my son and without my wife, tell them how much I suffer, I know how different it is.".

Elkana, a resident of Mevaseret Zion who celebrated his 36th birthday in captivity this month, was kidnapped from the Nuba party in Ra'im. Elkana was part of the Nuba party's production team on the day of the massacre and during the attack helped treat and evacuate the wounded. He and his wife Rivka are the parents of a 4-year-old son.
