The October 7th Committee in the British Parliament published a first-of-its-kind report detailing the events of October 7th from a British perspective, with the aim of combating denial and distortion of history.
The report was entrusted to the October 7th Committee, an independent committee appointed to investigate the events.
The study collected materials from various sources, including testimonies from survivors.
The goal of the report is to present factual and comprehensive documentation of Hamas' attack on Israel, to commemorate the victims of the event, and to prevent denials and historical distortions.
The main findings:
• The terrorist attack on October 7 was the deadliest incident for British citizens in the Middle East, claiming the lives of 18 British citizens.
• The investigation found that the youngest victim was a 14-hour-old baby girl who was born by emergency caesarean section after her mother was murdered.
• The report describes in detail the severe harm to civilians, the involvement of various terrorist organizations, and evidence of atrocities, including sexual assaults.
• The investigation found approximately 30 bodies with signs of sexual assault, but the investigation into this matter is still ongoing.
The sensitive report was presented in parliament and will be distributed among government ministries, members of parliament, academic institutions and media personnel, and will also be accessible to the general public online.
