Police officers from the Etzion police station in the Judea region arrested a Palestinian suspect who was a serial burglar in the Efrat city area and the Gush Etzion settlements. After a complex investigation, he was indicted for property offenses and theft of weapons.

The investigation revealed that the suspect acted systematically and with great sophistication. In one case, while disguised as a Jew, wearing a kippah and sandals, he walked around in broad daylight in the Elazar settlement and attempted to break into a house. When he noticed that there were residents inside, he posed as a traveler and asked for water. He then continued to a nearby house that was empty, where he broke in and stole property and ammunition.

In another case, the suspect entered the town of Efrat while posing as a local resident. He broke into a house and stole property, and to avoid suspicion, left the town wearing a wide-brimmed hat and carrying a Bnei Akiva movement bag.

In another case, he entered the settlement of Efrat, stole a bicycle and put on a helmet to blend in. He then entered a residence, stole a bag and a safe with a gun, put them in the bag and rode towards the exit point from the settlement, where he abandoned the bicycle and climbed over the fence.

The last time the suspect tried to infiltrate the Efrat community again using the same method, but the community's security forces identified him. When he realized he had been exposed, he began to flee and later tried to disguise himself as a farmer.

Security forces managed to arrest him at the scene.

After an intensive investigation by investigators from the Etzion police station, a serious indictment with 11 counts was filed against the suspect.
