Defense Minister Israel Katz visited the Rafael Institute for the Study of the Future, together with the company's chairman Dr. Yuval Steinitz, the company's CEO Yoav Turgeman, the Deputy Director General of the Ministry of Defense Itamar Graf, the head of the Defense Agency, Major General Eyal Harel, and other senior officials.
During the visit, the Minister of Defense toured the development and production facilities for the advanced combat systems, met with the company's management and engineers, and was given a professional and comprehensive overview of the company's activities and its plans for the future.
During the visit, the Minister of Defense emphasized Rafael's critical contribution to Israel's security, through the development of groundbreaking technological weapons, with an emphasis on the development of advanced defense systems such as Iron Dome and David's Sling, which over the past year and a half have protected Israeli citizens from a variety of multi-domain threats, and the Magen Or laser system, which will be delivered to the defense system later this year.

The Minister of Defense: "I came to be impressed by the incredible development and production of what I see as the protective wall of the State of Israel against enemies who have engraved our destruction on their flag. It is important that we be the best. The laser system is a weapon of the future that will enable us to thwart an entire layer of threats - from UAVs to other things with excellent results that are improving.
