Former Defense Minister Moshe Bogy Ya'alon was a guest on Channel 13's new current affairs program, hosted by Eyal Berkowitz and Moriah Asraf, during which a heated confrontation developed in the studio about the war in Gaza.
During the discussion, Berkowitz erupted in anger at Ya'alon and slammed him: "They slaughtered children, raped children, what are you talking about? They slaughtered us on October 7th!"'

""War is war," Berkowitz responded, "I expect a former Chief of Staff who was in a war to go to war.".
Ya'alon responded: "I expect the State of Israel not to send soldiers to kill babies or women.".
Presenter Moriah Asraf asked: "Do you think the Israeli government is sending IDF soldiers to kill babies in Gaza?""
Ya'alon responded: "I think that the moment rabbis talk about there being no innocent people in Gaza, and Smotrich and Ben Gvir talk about evacuating and thinning the population, and then it will be clean of Arabs and we will settle the area with Jews - this is not the country I want to live in.".

Likud attacked Ya'alon: "Bogie Ya'alon has lost it again. This time he aligns himself with Hamas propaganda that spreads blood libels about IDF soldiers. Bogey - shame on you.".
MK Almog Cohen responded: "Retd. Gen. Bogey Ya'alon is another of those barn-burners who sanctify the overthrow of one man (the Prime Minister), and along the way burn down an entire country. Without adequate representation, this is the face of the Israeli left. And it's a shame. Bogey, you don't reach the level of morality of IDF soldiers. Zero.".
