The murderous terrorist organization Hamas announced today (Friday) in an official statement that it "agreed to release the kidnapped soldier Idan Alexander, who holds American citizenship, in addition to handing over four additional dead hostages who hold dual citizenship.".
Hamas added: "We emphasize our willingness to begin negotiations to reach a comprehensive agreement on the second phase - and call on Israel to fully implement its commitments.".
The terrorist organization's statement is actually a positive response to the proposal of Trump envoy Adam Buehler, who is holding direct negotiations with them.

Israel has not yet officially responded.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that he will hold a situation assessment regarding the kidnappings today at 2:00 PM. This is a situation assessment that was scheduled yesterday before Hamas' announcement.
