A new UN report claims that Israel committed 'war crimes' during the fighting in Gaza, including deliberately targeting women's health facilities and using sexual violence as a means of warfare.

The report, which contains serious and unimaginable allegations against Israel, was compiled by a UN committee whose purpose is to investigate acts of sexual violence. The Israeli delegation to the UN institutions in Geneva denies the allegations, claiming that the report's findings are unfounded, biased, and unreliable.

According to the report, Israel allegedly resorted to sexual violence against Gaza residents, "including forcing civilians to undress in public and carrying out sexual assaults, as part of operational procedures designed to punish Palestinians following the October 7 attack on Israel.".

The report also claims that there has been a spike in maternal deaths in Gaza, due to limited access to medical equipment. "The situation has reached the level of a crime against humanity," it says.

The report's authors wrote that "the Israeli authorities have partially destroyed the reproductive capacity of the Palestinians in Gaza as a group, including by imposing measures designed to prevent births. This constitutes one of the categories of acts of genocide in the Rome Statute and the Genocide Convention.".

The Israeli delegation to the UN institutions in Geneva, as stated, rejected the accusations: "The IDF has concrete guidelines and a policy that unequivocally prohibits such inappropriate behavior.".

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sharply attacked the UN Human Rights Council following the report: "The anti-Israel circus called the UN 'Human Rights Council' has long been exposed as an anti-Semitic, rotten, terrorist-supporting and irrelevant body. It is not for nothing that Israel decided to withdraw from it about a month ago.".

Netanyahu added that instead of dealing with the war crimes of Hamas, which committed "the worst massacre against the Jewish people since the Holocaust," the UN is once again choosing to make false accusations against Israel, including unfounded claims of sexual violence. "This is not the Human Rights Council - this is the Blood Rights Council.".

The Foreign Ministry issued a scathing public response to the report: "This is one of the worst cases of blood libel the world has ever seen (and the world has seen many). It blames the victims for the crimes committed against them. Hamas is the organization that committed horrific sexual crimes against Israelis. This is indeed a sick document that only an anti-Semitic organization like the UN could have produced.".

The chairman of the state camp, Benny Gantz, responded: "I read the main points of the shameful UN report on my way from Kibbutz Re'im to Bari - where adults, women and children were massacred, raped and kidnapped. This report is morally depraved and blind that will not be erased. Whoever wrote the report and whoever signed it is not only lying, he is also harming world security and giving a boost to terrorism, anti-Semitism and blood libels.".
